Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI)

Elisabet de Mingo is a nurse with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and a specialization in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), a discipline that explores the relationship between nutrition, the immune system, hormones, the gut microbiota, the nervous system, and lifestyle.

Her goal is to help each person understand the underlying causes of their symptoms and provide personalized support through changes in nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, and, when appropriate, the use of evidence-based supplementation.

She takes a comprehensive approach, particularly for patients with chronic inflammation, digestive disorders, autoimmune diseases, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, metabolic conditions, and respiratory diseases, always working in coordination with the rest of Consulta Respira’s multidisciplinary team.

In addition to her clinical practice, she is actively involved in health education and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits through her Instagram account (@myslowcare), based on her belief that prevention and knowledge are essential tools for improving health and quality of life.
